My Story Page

Want to be a star? or Just tell a funny story.

My story is actually in the first person. This YOUR story or stories. This where we let you sent us your stories for possible inclusion in the Podcops Podcasts. It should be funny and should run between 3 and 15 minutes in length read aloud. You can send us the story to read or we can use your recording or even record you (monologue or interview format). You can attach files to the form, but only in the following document file formats .pdf .doc .rtf .txt  or .mp3 for sound files. Any format that can be compressed using .zip will also be accepted.

Consent to Release requirements:

1. The story must be an original police related story. You must be able to verify the story is true.

2. You will not be compensated for the story, but you will be given full credit (you can opt to remain anonymous in the credits, but you still have to tell us who you are).

3. No hate stories (can be a funny story about a ethnic person, gay or whatever as long as the person is not being hated due to his race, religion, sexual orientation, etc, etc.).

4. Imitated voices are ok as long as they comply with #3.

5. You can change names in the story to protect the innocent (or yourself from being sued).

6. All stories become are property for use in our podcasts (You still can use your story in a book or movie, but we will forever have the rights to the podcasted story.)

7. You agree all responsibility for release of the story is solely yours and you are liable for it's content.

8. You will hold harmless podcops and it's affiliates, owners, employees from any civil actions created by the podcasting of your story. You agree to pay all legal costs in case your story and subsequent podcast result in a civil suit including liable, slander and other such civil actions.

I hereby give my consent to Podcops.com to broadcast and/or record my participation in the
program or event described above. Further, I hereby transfer and assign to Podcops.com the exclusive right
to use and to authorize others to use all or part of my participation in said program.

Further, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Podcops.com from and against any and all claims and demands
whatsoever including but not limited to claims or demands arising from infringement of copyright, proprietary right of
claims of libel, obscenity or invasion of privacy that may arise out of any part of my participation in said program or
from any breach or warranties or representations herein contained.
